Cardiology

Cardiology is the branch of medicine that deals with the heart and its diseases.

Central Utah Clinic opened its Heart Center at the organization's main campus in Provo in December 2003. Patrients are able to receive diagnostic testing in addition to visiting his or her physician all in one convenient location. The Heart Center features a warm atmosphere coupled with state-of-the-art technology. Additionally, our American Fork office moved to the organization's American Fork campus in January of 2007, which features diagnostic services and the same warm atmosphere. Patients in all of Utah County now have access to specialized cardiac care. Our cardiologists cover every area hospital for cardiac emergencies.

Our physicians are board certified in general cardiology and interventional cardiology. Interventional cardiology is an alternative to traditional cardiac surgery. Our group of physicians has expertise in all areas of cardiovascular care. We treat all cardiac diseases, peripheral arterial and venous disease. Cardiac MRIs can be performed within our own Imaging Center. We also offer retrievable IVC filters.
